WHAT IS SYSTEM PERFORMANCE WARRANTY?
ZEMECS System Performance Warranty is a program which warrants performance of components and applications deployed in a ZEMECS structured cabling solution. It guarantees that a ZEMECS structured cabling system that has been implemented (installed, labelled, terminated and tested) by a ZEMECS authorized installer shall operate for 25 years at industry standards prevailing at the time of commissioning.
WHAT IS COVERED?
ZEMECS System Performance Warranty covers all components and the related labour services (application) that make up the copper and fiber optic permanent links and channels. If any component in the connection fails, it shall be replaced with a new one and the system shall remain under warranty until the 25-year period expires. The following links are covered under this warranty:
- Horizontal cabling (between patch panels and work area outlets)
- Cabling between cabinets (between patch panels)
- Backbone cabling (between telecommunications room and floor distribution)
- Patch cords
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
System performance warranty does not cover;
- Any non-ZEMECS branded product and the channels or permanent links where they are used, regardless of the standard
- Products that do not have a test certificate even if they are ZEMECS branded.
- Any active device, interconnection product and passive infrastructure product that do not have data transfer
- Untested channels or permanent links
- Any application where field services are not rendered by a ZEMECS authorized installer
